Will the G8 return as the four door Corvette?

Will there be a 4-Door Corvette? -Hardly. Internet boards have been set ablaze by a misrepresented quote from General Motor’s Bob Lutz. Apparently it was a slow news days for the boys over at Left Lane News who turned a quote from Joel Feder into chat room fodder and photoshops. Feder attending a GM news conference posted the following quote about the possible return of the G8 on his Twitter account, “High end brakes, huge engine, big and fast. Like four door corvette”.

While his statement is accurate, and could signal the return of the vanquished Pontiac G8 and a Chevrolet model, GM will not be building a Panamerica four door Vette anytime soon.
