Indian Man Crashes Corvette Into Barebershop

James McCartney, 78, suffered a medical emergency that caused him to lose control of his Chevrolet Corvette and crash through the front window of a barbershop in Charlestown, Indiana.
Employees and customers scattered when they saw the car hurtling towards the store front. McCartney was taken to hospital for evaluation and amazingly no one inside the building was injured.
“We saw it coming and said, ‘What is that guy doing?’” Minns said.
Minns has been at the barbershop for 41 years. While the damage is extensive, he hopes to have it repaired and reopen the business in coming months. The Corvette faired better than the brick store front and maybe able to to be repaired. The good news the accident was no more than a close shave for all involved.
